Upcoming Weekly Programs at the North Shore Children’s Museum
We are pleased to offer many weekly programs and special events throughout the month. With the help of our wonderful, creative partners and support from donors, the majority of our programs are free with the purchase of admission. Upcoming events are listed below. STEAM Club – September 2023
Join us on Sundays at 2:30 for STEAM Club for ages 5-11. August’s theme is Self-care, and each week participants will explore science and arts through hands-on projects and experiments. This program is free with admission to the 2-4PM play session. You can purchase tickets and sign up for STEAM club online or in person while supplies last.

9/10 ~ No STEAM Club – Peabody International Fest Special Hours
9/17 ~ Testing Textures – Sandpaper art
9/24 ~ SPECIAL GUEST: Robothink presents a special robotics workshop

Upcoming Programs – Week of September 10, 2023
Wed 9/13 – Pre-K Wonder Workshop at 1:30PM. Join former transitional kindergarten teacher Norma for a workshop all about food. Have you ever wondered why our bodies need food and what happens when we eat and drink? Come question and discover with crafts and activities!
Thurs 9/14: Susie Magoozy is back with a silly story time this Thursday at 10AM. Using music, puppets, felt story boards, and more, Susie makes engaging stories come to life!
Fri 9/15: Join Miss Shelley for kids yoga and mindfulness this Friday at 10AM. September can be a time of changing schedules and new challenges, and taking some time to breath and move your body is important for both adults and children.
POSTPONED DUE TO ILLNESS. We are working to reschedule as soon as Ivy is feeling better. Sat 9/16: We’re very excited to have Ivy the Very Determined Dog joining us on Saturday 9/16 at 10AM. Ivy the Frenchie will be here with her humans for two story times, one at 10:00AM and one at 10:45AM, with time to have your book signed in-between. Ivy’s humans will be selling the book if you do not already have your own copy.
Sun 9/17: STEAM Club: This week we are Testing Textures! We will be making art and exploring what happens when you combine different surface textures. We invite our guests ages 5-11 to join us each Sunday at 2:30 PM for STEAM club.
Pre-registration is recommended by adding a no-cost STEAM Club participant ticket to your order, along with admission to the museum. Adults must be present at the museum for the duration of the program.
Children’s programs are free with admission to the coinciding play session unless otherwise designated. Tickets are subject to availability.

Upcoming Programs – Week of September 17, 2023
Fri 9/22: We’re very excited to welcome Coach Lex from Danvers Indoor Sports on Friday September 22 at at 10AM! Coach Lex will be teaching basic sports skills though fun games. Learn more at https://danversindoorsports.com/.
Sun 9/24: STEAM Club: This week we have a very special guest: Robothink! RoboThink is a leading STEM, coding, robotics and engineering program nurturing geniuses across 23 countries to thousands of students each day. Learn more at https://www.myrobothink.com/neboston/. We invite our guests ages 5-11 to join us each Sunday at 2:30PM for STEAM club.

Upcoming Programs – Week of September 24, 2023
Wed 9/27: Pre-K Wonder Workshop at 1:30PM. Join former transitional kindergarten teacher Norma for a workshop where we ask: “Do you ever wonder what parts of you like it when you exercise?” September is self-care month at NSCM, and in this workshop we will explore exercise and taking care of your mind and body.
Thurs 9/28: Susie Magoozy is back with her wonderful silly story time on Thursday, September 28 at 10AM. Using music, puppets, and more, Susie makes engaging stories come to life!
Sun 10/1: STEAM Club: This week we welcome special guest Linda Sessa of Outside the Box Learning Co. for Messy Science! We invite our guests ages 5-11 to join us each Sunday at 2:30PM for STEAM club.
Pre-registration is recommended by adding a no-cost STEAM Club participant ticket to your order, along with admission to the museum. Adults must be present at the museum for the duration of the program. All guests need museum admission tickets, but only child participants need STEAM Club tickets.
