Upcoming Weekly Programs at the North Shore Children’s Museum

We are pleased to offer many weekly programs and special events throughout the month. With the help of our wonderful, creative partners and support from donors, the majority of our programs are free with the purchase of admission. Upcoming events are listed below. Upcoming Programs – Week of July 21, 2024

Wed 7/24: Legopalooza. We are excited to be able to offer a vast array of Legos for kids to build with in our back party room all day Wednesday July 24. Please note that Lego Bricks are rated for ages 4 and up. Special thanks to friend of North Shore Children’s Museum Ryan for generously donating the Legos for this program!

Fri 7/26: Join summer program volunteer Willow for an all new nursery sing-along program! Geared towards our younger visitors, this interactive music program is sure to have your little ones singing and moving to the music.

Children’s programs are free with admission to the coinciding play session unless otherwise designated. Tickets are subject to availability.

Upcoming Programs – Week of July 28, 2024

Wed 7/31: Join summer program volunteer Willow for a line dance party! This program is geared towards our elementary age visitors, and will be covering all of the classic party dances like the YMCA, the Cha-Cha Slide, and more. We’re excited for this high-energy dance party!

Fri 8/2: We’ve got Olympic fever at NSCM! Join us for a special Olympic-themed obstacle course all day in our back Party Room.

Sat 8/3: Low-sensory Play Session, 2-4PM. Created for our friends with autism and sensory processing disorders, we have reduced the number of tickets available for this play session, and will dim lights and sounds to become a more welcoming environment. You do not need a formal diagnosis to attend this play session. If you have any questions about our low-sensory play sessions, please reach out to us at nscminfo@peabody-ma.gov.

Tickets for our low-sensory play session are limited, and available online now. There may be some tickets in person on Saturday, depending upon pre-sale numbers.

Sunday 8/4: Join special program guest Linda Sessa for an afternoon of Messy Science! This program has limited, first come first serve space. You can reserve your child’s participation spot and purchase admission for our 2-4PM play session online or in person as tickets last. This program is appropriate for ages 5 and up.

Children’s programs are free with admission to the coinciding play session unless otherwise designated. Tickets are subject to availability.
