Volunteer Opportunities

Want to have fun, while serving the local community?

North Shore Children’s Museum relies on a dedicated team of volunteers in order to run safely and effectively. Volunteer are a critical to our ability to deliver excellent customer service for families and enriching educational experiences for children. Volunteer roles include greeting and checking-in visitors, staffing the gift shop, re-setting exhibits, and serving as a resource for visitors.

Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one shift every two weeks.

The following shifts are available:

Wednesdays, 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm
Thursdays, 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm
Fridays, 9am-12pm, 1pm-2pm, 2pm-5pm
Saturdays, 9am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, 2pm-5pm, 3pm-6pm
Sundays, 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm

How do I get started?

Please email our Community Engagement Manager, Madison Borden, or follow the link below to Timecounts. There you will fill out a short questionare with basic information. Once completed, Madison will reach out to schedule a time to meet at the museum and get aquainted with our vounteer positions. All interested applicants will need to go through an interview process and CORI screening before coming for their first shift.
