Upcoming Weekly Programs at the North Shore Children’s Museum
We are pleased to offer many weekly programs and special events throughout the month. With the help of our wonderful, creative partners and support from donors, the majority of our programs are free with the purchase of admission. Upcoming events are listed below. Peabody Free Days!
ALL July Saturdays (except July 4th): 9am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, & 2pm-4pm
ALL July Sundays: 12pm-2pm & 2pm-4pm
Peabody residents can enjoy free admission to the North Shore Children’s Museum on ALL WEEKENDS* in July!
With the generous support of Peabody Cultural Council, we are excited to offer free admission days for Peabody Residents. Tickets may be reserved online in advance or in person. Get your tickets at nschildrensmuseum.org/visit/buy-tickets/.
Guests must be prepared to show proof of Peabody residency at the door.
*We will be closed Saturday, July 4th for U.S. Independence Day

Marblehead Free Days!
Marblehead residents can enjoy free admission to the North Shore Children’s Museum on August 8-9 and August 15-16!
With the generous support of Marblehead Cultural Council and Mass Cultural Council, we are excited to offer free admission days for Marblehead Residents. Tickets may be reserved online in advance or in person. Get your tickets at nschildrensmuseum.org/visit/buy-tickets/

Monday Morning Play!
We are OPEN Monday mornings in July and August!
School’s out, summer’s IN! We’re opening our doors in July and August for some magical Monday morning play🌞Come play with us on Mondays from 9am-12pm!

Upcoming Programs – Week of July 13, 2026
Mon 7/13: Join us for Music and Movement with MaryBeth Maes this Monday at 10AM. MaryBeth will have your little ones singing, dancing, and playing along to the music!
Wed 7/15: Build whatever your imagination dreams up in this open-ended LEGO free-build extravaganza. Towers, vehicles, creatures, or total masterpieces – if you can imagine it, you can build it in LEGO-palooza!
Fri 7/17: Step back in time with the Buttonwoods Museum! Discover what people wore long ago and how clothing was made before factories! See how wool was spun into yarn, learn about spinning, and check out colonial-style clothing to experience fashion from the past!
Sat 7/18: Betsy Ross is coming to the museum! Join us for a morning of song-singing and flag-making as we learn about colonial America!
Sat 7/18: Join us for a Low Sensory Play Session, featuring a calmer, more relaxed museum environment! During this special play time, we reduce noise levels, limit crowd size, and adjust stimulation to support children who may benefit from a quieter experience.
Sun 7/19: Join us in the back party room anytime between 12PM and 4PM on Sunday and try your hand at Lego Challenge. There will also be time for free building. Guests who attempt the challenge will get a Lego themed sticker to take home.
Sat 7/18 & Sun 7/19: Are you a Peabody resident? This weekend, Peabody residents receive FREE admission to the museum! Reserve tickets online or in-person, and be prepared to show proof of residency at the door!
Children’s programs are free with admission to the coinciding play session unless otherwise designated. Tickets are subject to availability.

Wed 7/22: Build whatever your imagination dreams up in this open-ended LEGO free-build extravaganza. Towers, vehicles, creatures, or total masterpieces – if you can imagine it, you can build it in LEGO-palooza!
Thurs 7/23: Join us for Art Adventures with Pam! This week, we’ll be celebrating the 2026 World Cup as we design jerseys and flags for our favorite teams!
Sat 7/25: Check out reptiles up close with Rainforest Reptile Shows! Pop in between 11am and 1pm on July 25 for some hands-on animal learning!
Sun 7/26: Explore and create with STEM-based arts projects in Sunday STEAM! Design, experiment, and bring home your beautiful spring crafts! This week, we’re exploring buoyancy with some mesmerizing jellyfish sensory bottles.
Sat 7/25 & Sun 7/26: Are you a Peabody resident? This weekend, Peabody residents receive FREE admission to the museum! Reserve tickets online or in-person, and be prepared to show proof of residency at the door!

Thurs 7/30: Get your groove on! Jam out with Little Groove Music in a movement-filled music show perfect for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers!
Fri 7/31: Join InclYOUsion Sports coaches here at NSCM at 10AM for a fun sports program. Inclyousion Sports provides inclusive sports enrichment programs to children in Massachusetts, using innovative behavioral methods to teach sports, fitness, and social skills.
Sat 8/1: Put on your acting hats and step into Pretend Lab! Imagination takes the lead as kids dive into creative role-play, improvisation, and dramatic storytelling through playful pretend fun.
