North Shore Children’s Museum was distinctly honored to receive North of Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau’s “Outstanding New Member” award this November. NSCM Executive Director Ali Haydock, Peabody Mayor Ted Bettencourt, and members of the NSCM board and staff were present at the 2023 Tourism Industry Awards at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, MA to receive this award.

NSCM is grateful for the support of community partners on the North Shore like North of Boston CVB. The expertise and guidance of these knowledgeable, longstanding institutions have been invaluable to the staff and board of the children’s museum during this first year of operations. “The North Shore travel, tourism, and creative communities have been so supportive of our mission to serve the children and families who live and visit this area.” says Ali. “We’ve welcomed visitors from 280 cities and towns – we are thrilled to be a “destination” for families within and outside the north shore.”
